ToPaRaMa -- release date June 17, 2014
ToPaRaMa is a true meeting of the minds. It’s a one-of-a-kind release that captures the explosive energy of drummers Pat Mastelotto and Tobias Ralph. But ToPaRaMa isn’t a typical chops-driven "drummersʼ album." It’s a disc of artfully-composed pieces, full of melodic elements and infectious grooves. Recorded by Mastelotto and mastered by Unsung Productions, the album combines influences as diverse as Weather Report’s funk-fueled jazz-rock, King Crimson’s polyrhythmic- prog stylings, Peter Gabrielʼs Passion and shape-shifting post-rock.
Two new releases out April 15.
Stick Men's "Power Play".
Their first official live recording.
Pay For Brain's "None of the Above" Arabilly/Indofunk/Sufisurf mashup.
Debut disc from monster guitarist, Matte Henderson. Matte has worked with John Medeski, Screaming Headless Torsos, Henry Kaiser, Natalie Merchant and the late Mick Karn. One part electronica plus one part progressive post-rock, Matte mixes and stirs together an incredible team of players for “The Veneer of Logic”: uber-drummer Marco Minnemann, Tony Levin, David Torn, Pat Mastelotto, Trey Gunn, Mary Pastorius and Doctor Know of Bad Brains.
This is a double-disc set with a DVD of films created for every track.
Stick Men (Tony Levin of King Crimson, Peter Gabriel; Pat Mastelotto of King Crimson, XTC, Mr. Mister; Markus Reuter of Tuner, Centrozoon) push the envelope even further with this Special Edition version of their latest recording: DEEP. This two-disc set includes the full album along with 5.1 surround sound mixes by Machine (producer for King Crimson, Clutch, Lamb of God) and hi-res 96 kHz stereo mixes. Also on the DVD is the 65-minute documentary and concert film “A Little Deeper.” Finally, rounding things out are two alternative versions of “Crack in the Sky” in, both, Italian and Spanish.
Additionally we are putting out Stickmen releases "Absalom" and "Open", while have previously only been available at their live shows.
Woodstock, NY (February 2013)
Stick Men is a rock trio like no other. The group is created from musicians with extensive experience playing together. Pat Mastelotto and Tony Levin are the rhythm section of the legendary band King Crimson. Mastelotto is in demand all over the world as the premier drummer for progressive rock. Levin plays an unusual instrument -- the 12 string Chapman Stick -- in Crimson, with Peter Gabriel and others. Markus Reuter is a composer/guitarist who designs and plays his own unique touch style guitar. With all these unusual instruments, this does not sound like three guys!
Their newest and best work yet, DEEP features heavy rock pieces “Concussion”, “Horatio”, the 11 min. tone poem “Whale Watch” and the musically amusing “Nude Descending Staircase.” Mixed by Machine -- producer for King Crimson, Clutch, Lamb of God.
PAT MASTELOTTO, KING CRIMSON / MR. MISTER / XTC DRUMMER
Pat Mastelotto, the internationally-renowned drummer whose pioneering work with King Crimson, Mr. Mister and XTC has cemented him as one of experimental music and pop/prog-rock's most talented percussionists, releases Recidivate, a collection of outtakes, rarities and highlights from the past 20 years of his career on Mar. 20 via Trey Gunn's 7d Media.
"I've been making records for about 35 years," explains Mastelotto, "but never put one out under my own name. I've never had that desire. I like to collaborate, to exchange energy with musical pals, to start with nothing and leave hours later with something. Over the years, I've been blessed to get to play on some wonderful music, with some special friends and felt it was time to let others hear these special moments."
This retrospective, two-disc set includes over 2 hours of music drawn from Gunn’s catalog. Known for his work with King Crimson and as a pioneer of the touch guitar, Gunn has produced 8 solo recordings. For this dynamic mix of material, Gunn, a much sought after collaborator, has pulled in tracks from numerous artists he has worked with over the years. Music from Russia, Mexico, Italy and Finland is melded with his solo works in this fascinating collection.

Woodstock, NY (June 2010)
King Crimson alumni Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto join with Chapman Stick player Michael Bernier in this unique album featuring multiple Sticks. Here the band showcases 56 minutes of hard-edged progressive rock, including an ominous rock rendition of Stravinsky’s “Firebird Ballet”. The title track “Soup”, mixed by Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson,
