This last February, Deep Energy Orchestra released their second CD called, The Return which features Moksha: The Elimination of All Duality. For the original release Moksha was broken up into smaller pieces due to its length in order to facilitate easier listening to each movement in the 17-minute piece. This is the same recording as on "The Return" release, but without the edits.
We thought it was a cool idea to make the full version available for everyone here. Enjoy the journey!

The premise of Moksha as a spiritual concept is that we are, in this world, separated from our oneness with All (God, Universe, etc) and this fractured reality is one of duality and opposites: Up/down, hot/cold, male/female, dark/light, etc…
Moksha is the state of consciousness where one can escape the bonds of duality and become one with All. Among other ways, this can happen through mediation, drugs, music, trauma, sex, and death.
Moksha: The Elimination Of All Duality is the sonic story of a soul. In this story, the first movement, The Village represents a traditional way of life for this person. The second movement, The Battle is an intense back-and-forth between this soul and death. The third movement, The Journey is the liberation of the soul from its physical bonds and is light traveling towards eternity.
The final movement, The Return is the re-emergence of the soul in a new body…but this one has echoes from the past. It has flavors of the old and the new, and blends them with other traditions… evolving. I started this composition nearly 30 years ago with the first two movements.
I added The Journey about 12 years ago, and The Return in the last few years. It was only after the entire composition was complete that I realized it was autobiographical on some level. Who knows what the next life will bring!
Many thanks and much love, Jason
